The excavation of a 17th century Protestant cemetery at Saint Maurice (Val-de-Marne), carried out by a team from the Institut national de recherches archéologique preventives (INRAP), began in May and will last two months.
A few metres from the Vieux-Port, excavations carried out in the quarter known as the Panier have brought to light the earliest constructions from the period of the Greek colony.
In 2002, the National Institute for Preventive Archaeology (INRAP) discovered the Genevray site on the route of the future Thonon-les-Bains bypass in Haute-Savoie. An evaluation was authorised and curated by the archaeology service of the DRAC de Rhônes-Alpes.
A team from the National Institute for Research in Preventive Archaeology (Inrap) is at present finishing the first set of work in the Puisserguier (Hérault) region.
